I got it about a week ago. I went back to the artist and he told me it was brusihing but I habe never seen anything like his before. I just don't think it looks like bruishing. I guess I am asking what the bruishing should look like and how long should it take to go away.

It's hard to say, not being able to see the tattoo, but bruising is possible. Do you generally bruise easily? Do you have a reason not to believe the artist who did the work? Try asking a couple other professional tattoo artists about it and see what they say.
I have more than 20 tattoos and can't remember ever bruising, but everybody is different. Good luck.

I have a 3inc x 2.5inc tattoo, on my right ankle. It did not burse. Maybe the way the tattoo artist held the ankle made it burse. Or maybe you just tensed up to much during the tattoo

my opinion is take a picture of it an then ask because its hard to sa wihout looking at it
