"Intelligent Design suspects that there is an outside source that created or designed the universe." Who or what is the designer of the universe? Is the answer to this question part of the empirical evidence that is necessary to prove Intelligent design as a scientific theory? To what degree is it important to answer this question? Is it possible to simply accept that the Universe exhibits examples of design and intelligence in its design without going to the next step of hypothesizing a theory that this means that there is a designer?

how do you think nietzsche would respond to cottinghams criticism about how life cannot be compartmentalized because that makes it self defeating.
cottingham said
that it needs to be open and intergrated to have a meaningful life.

How do you spot a metalhead in a crowd of people? And how do you knows it's a metalhead, and not a person who likes the color black or a poser wearing a Pantera shirt?

What would happened in a game(r,p,s) between an absolute mind reader and an absolute future predictor?Assume that both are going to use their ‘ability’ when playing.

P.S.
My friend told me that this situtation is the same as you playing against your reflection(draw-game for eternity). But i disagree and said that the Mind reader will win, since the only way to change the future(using free-will), is to witness it before the outcome/future occurs.

simple-sounding question, i think, but with a tough answer, if any...
if my memories contribute in a formative manner to "who i am" today, to an ever-changing personal identity, would it be right to say that the things i don't remember "happened to someone else"? Did they actually happen to "me" if "me" is some kind of aggregate of memories and experiences?

Cultural Ethical Relativism

In today’s American culture, it is normal for us to say a thing is right because everyone does it. And of course this can be said of any culture. If the culture says a thing is right then it must be so. Thus, there is nothing more to ethics than the beliefs and practices of individual cultures and societies. Do you agree with this statement? Why or why not?

Many people believe that is necessary for someone to be religious to make informed moral decisions. Do you believe this way? If so why, and if not why not?

I know what the basic gest of the reasons of this question this. I believe some answers are human psychology, greed, judgment, but i need more precise and "elaborate" reasons.

Anyone can answer this question, but it's better if you read Russian literature such as Gogol, Tolstoy, and Chekhov. "The Overcoat, How Much Land does a man need, The Bet. " This question is directly related to these stories.
