All i know is that he made this really famous painting of a transvestite, painting a picture of another transvestite....i havent actually seen this paintin myself, but that´s the description i´ve heard...but i hope that shines some light on who he may be? Thanks! :)

their shyness and get themselves closeted in their tightened boundaries. This very nature disqualifies them and they do not come to the front. I have seen students with real talents, but unable to exhibit due to their shyness. This made me write this poem to encourage them.

I request your comments please. I posted the poem some one hour back. Will you post your comments please?

Just the right amount of nicotine to exhale you out of my mind

Memories enscribed on swirling smoke

Ashes float down in to the cup of once clean water

Grey burnt specks floating on top but never going deeper until the water is disrupted

Black Breath in white breath out

Cigarette paper burns back exposing bare anger

Just the right amount of nicotine to exhale you out of my mind

Will it change anything?

Hi again, I want to buy a wall map of United States to put in my living room. I am new here (entered USA about 4 months ago) and I wish to learn more about my adoptive country. Also, if you can, please tell me what good history books I should buy or read. (nn : I have membership with New York Public Library). Thank you.

I just a little curious. The crazy thing I have realized is, sometimes, the cornier, the better reaction you get from your probable acquaintance.

There are some things in life that are a mystery. For example:
there was a rich man with a huge ego because he was very
successful. He took out his yaught one day, by himself out to sea.
Somehow, he accidently fell overboard. He thought his boat
would just keep circling, but it kept on going, farther out to sea.
He floated for many hours. He was in his late 50's. So, this was a
challenge indeed. While he floated, he wondered whether he
would drown. He didn't believe in God. But then suddenly he
remembered an old childhood song he sang in church as a boy.
He started singing it. And started to pray for the first time in many
years. He realized how arrogant he'd become. And how big he
let his ego get. He had a brother whom he hadn't talked to for 2
yrs. While he was trying to survive, his boat had landed on the
shore. He had some friends who saw his boat and that he wasn't
in it. They knew something was wrong. So they called his brother.

We named our (American) son Finn. Not after Finn McCool, just because we liked it; he has no Irish blood, but his dad and I met through a shared love of Irish music, plus my husband has a Norwegian last name that's difficult to match first names with (I wasn't about to name my son Ulf.) Please settle a bet: does it mean red-haired or blond? And I understand there is also a Scandinavian connection? Can anyone shed some light? Thanks. P.S. I miss you Ireland--can't wait to get back.
