I have seen this movie 3 times. But yet it never talks of the battles in the snow you see on PBS and other programs. it shows grassy fields, no snow at all.

Was there battles like the ones in the movies?

was there a gas storage area that the germans failed to take and were forced to walk back home?

I've read about this volcanic eruption before in social studies books during class, but this was about two years ago. I know it was somewhere not in the united states, and that it was a very, very, very long time ago.
It destroyed two large places -i think-, but I remember that most of the people were killed when the ash hardened their lungs or something?

I'm almost 100% sure the place where it erupted started with a P.

I'm sorry for the lack of information, but if you know anything, please help. :)

information on Hadrian (A.D. 117-138) Roman Emperor. I need 10 things about him. (Example: Personality traits, careers, family, place of bith, and other important things he did). I also need a couple of sentences explainining that thing.
EXAMPLE:
1) Birthday- January 24, 76.Hadrian's bith place was in Rome. Hadrian's actual place of birth was, however, unimportant, since it was one's patria which was crucial.

That's all I need. PLEASE HELP ME :D

Or did they?
They had sleighs, but wouldn't the horses have sunk into the snow? I've seen antique wooden shovels, which must've been heavy, but I can't imagine how they cleared about the roads.
