An estimated 15 million American Indians were killed from 1500-1900. If we don't like something we just go out and kill until we get what we want.

How nice is that?

I am having trouble finding people who know any historical facts about Tischman auditorium, located in NYC near Union Square. I went there several times but the people there don't really know anything about it.

“At confederation, Canada’s civic culture was infused with the belief that the vigorous and reasoned expression of ideas could influence the progress of peoples and civilizations. Interlocutors who stood behind prejudice or tradition-to avoid the rough-and-tumble arena of public debate- were perceived as circumventing the civic mechanism through which the best principles and actions revealed themselves. Not only did ideas matter, the process through which they were discussed was of paramount importance. The public good demanded that political actors rise above narrow self-interest and engage each other with intellectual openness and generosity of spirit”

Does anyone hear of the "Manhattan II Action"? I read an article which states that the atomic bombs over Hiroshima and Nagasaki is a rumor, no real atomic bombs were dropped in Japan. It was a psychological warfare to send fake information to Japan and force it to surrender as soon as possible.
Any idea? Who knows the truth?
