I have been reading about the Mexican War 1846-1848, and the stories from the event are exciting and fascinating. However, I have doubts about the accounts of the war such as casualties and battles. Nevertheless, I wondered why the public has few resources about the war, and Hollywood have few movies and films about the event, i.e. One Man's Hero, Ponderosa, and North and South, Book I.

The Mexican War should be more opened to the public and Hollywood media.

My Great Great Great Grandfather fought in the civil war on the union side but my first cousins ancesters fought on the Confederate side. Come to find out they both were in some of the same battles too. And I know that his family had a slave plantation and do you think it would be right to give reperations if he found someone who desended from a slave on his plantation. Or should he just apologize and tell people who would have never done it and is shameful of his famlilies history as slave owners.

I just found this article it shocks me

Ghandi

MLK called his ideas of passive resistance an inspiration - so did Nelson Mandela and other prominent Black civil rights leaders. Black history in schoolbooks covers a lot of stuff on this Ghandi boy but was he a true racist redneck indian

http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.asp?page=story_23-3-2005_pg4_24

"Gandhi’s desire for Indians to be segregated from blacks was so strong that he went to Johannesburg in late August of 1904 to protest the placing of blacks in the Indian section of the city"

According to the article, part of Gandhi’s attitude stemmed from his belief in the Aryan Invasion Theory, claiming that the superior white race from the Steppes subjugated darker races all across Eurasia. Gandhi refused to accept classification with ‘aboriginal’ looking ‘savages’

I hate both Abraham Lincoln and Ghandi; hypocrites and mother-fuckers
