I'm not an anti-war sort of person. I understand that, horrid though it is, war is sometimes unavoidable. But what about WW1 and 2?
I expect WW2 was the only option when faced with a maniac like Hitler.

I am just curious because I am working on a Bible Study on the Birth of Jesus. I always thought that Herod was a puppet king from Egypt. But as I searched "Roman Politics" of the time. Herod was a King during the rise of the first Roman Emperor Augustus.

That means that he was ruling during that whole over the top fiasco with Mark Anthony and Cleopatra. Now if Cleopatra was the Queen of Egypt? Where does King Herod fit in the picture? Any suggestions????

During the 1960s I was given some top sectret negative to print of the holocaust and the suffering of the jews. Those picture are imprinted on my memory. They were horrific. What kind of human being denies that this happened, and why would they try to prevent the truth.?
