what was a toy that a peasant would've had? like a spining top? a collection of spinning jax? a doll? pleez leave your first name with your answer (i'm citing this as an online interview. i'm only in 7th grade, so my teachers aren't as strict about citing as high skool or college teachers are).

I'm doing an essay on Oscar Wilde's theory of aesthetics. I understand his theory but I want to compare it to the Victorian Era's theory of aesthetics. I understand that during that era art was primarily seen as a way to convey morals and inspire people. Can anyone give me more details on the Victorian Era's theory of aesthetics?? Thanks!
