Ken E, thanks for the answer. The purpose of my question, however, is to find out how tall the pyramids are compare to a modern day building.

Stories have different heights in different buildings and are defined differently in different countries. The Great Pyramid has three or four flat floored rooms, (one under ground level) so you could say it's only got three stories, with a vary thick floor and roof. The other pyramids I think have only one chamber so they have but one story.
