My GGGgreat grandfather Shepard Whitt originally from Kentucky born about 1795 is the furthest back I can get in that branch of my family. Are there any of his descendants who can help me find out Shepard's father's name?

I have been searching through many databases to try to find a link to my Maori ancestry in New Zealand. My great-great grandmother was half-Maori. Her father's last name was Paget. He was originally from England. He married a full-blooded Maori woman (supposedly of royal blood) of the Te Arawa Tribe on the Coramundel Coast of N.Z. and they settled in Mercury Bay where they had my g-g-grandmother, Maria Paget. My ancestor Paget died on a Schooner named "Rapid" in 1863 btwn. Mercury Bay and Auckland. He had goldmines in Merc. Bay, which he left to my gg-grandmdother Maria. Maria later married my gg-grandfather, Richard Allen Player. They had six(?) children, my great-grandfather, Lionel Paget Player (other names I know are Audrey, Ivy and Rudolph(?) being one of them. He later moved to San Francisco, CA. I have two photos of Maria (VERY Maori looking) and Richard Allen Player with their children...any help appreciated...please respond only if you have info on these families thx

My great great grandfather fought (confederate) in the Civil War. He was captured in a battle and was taken to Point Lookout and held as a prisoner. After staying for a while, he and others were part of a prisoner exchange, so he got out. The problem is this - he came from NC and started there as a soldier. There are records of all of that and his family. Around the time he was released, the family was in Southwestern Virginia (and there are records there - and this is where I'm from), but he never rejoined the family that I can see. What would have happened and how do I find out? All records I've been through have no indication of him after his release. Could he have rejoined the confederates and been killed? Did they rejoin like that? Can anyone offer up any ideas?

The only results have been from gov. sites, and limited census results from Ancestry etc. What could purchased software offer? Only organising results? I have been searching for months, and NEVER found anyone researching my family. I have joined Ancestry, but again, only gov records and even theyr'e somtimes inconsistant eg one sibling shown on her sisters census entry, but no entry of her own for the same year.

i posted the first question in a hurry with some REALLY bad math. so here we go again. Can you help me find the name of a golden glove boxer/pro baseball player that was murdered around 1963?
i was adopted. i recently recieved information about my birth mother. nothing is known about the father. the only way i can find out her name is by signing up with a registery and hoping she does the same. however it does say that 16 days before she was born her father was murdered. it also says he was a pro baseball player and a golden gloves boxer. i was born in 1981 and it says she was 18. if anyone can help i would appreciate it. i figured with this info it wouldnt be too hard. but google isnt helping me all that much. i dont have a personal computer so it is hard for me to research all that much. thank you for your time. oh yeah and he was white.

What must be present in a body to make it alive ?
What inhale the Life in formulas and equations ?
The answer is:
Soul. Quantum of Light.
Because, from all particles, only and only
the quantum of light is a privileged particle.
========================
Quantum of light is a particle and wave simultaneously.
Exact there is a simultaneity of space and time.
For me such explanation is unsatisfactory.
It just as to speak, that the logic information and
the senseless message are the same simultaneously.
To say half truth is worse then to say lie.
* * *
Quantum of light is a privileged particle.
Only the speed of a light quantum has
a maximal, constant, absolute quantity of c=1.
No other particle can travel with the speed c = 1.
If quantum of light flies always rectilinearly c=1, it is a mad one.
Is he really mad?
* * *
Only a light quantum has the absolute speed c=1.
No other particle can travel with the speed c = 1.
Other particle can travel only with the speed v=s/t.
And I was taught at school from the first class:
that the incommensurable quantities cannot be compared.
To connect incommensurable quantities it
is similar to the decision of a problem:
“What will be if the whale will attacks the elephant?”
