I've seen this at the book store, but is this only the known superheros? Or all the superheros, even those which did not last long?

here's what I can remember...
scene-the dude is sitting with a woman he likes and she hands him knife and fork made from silver...which burns his hands...her fears confirmed..she draws her gun and he tells her that the gun she is holding on him might not kill him in human form before he makes the change..scene- where a guy tries to stop a giant wolf on some old railroad tracks, taking his sister and the wolf turns to him with sister in his mouth...and growls softly..and he lets sister get taken...scene-something in the mirror is coming through from the other side to kill all wolves...
when the hero of this story turns to a wolf...he looks like a big shaggy dog...not really stereotypical wolf like
the big white wolf that takes guys sister is the rich dude whose home has the mirror the threat will come through to kill all wolves......your help please...

What If . . .

Probably one of the most asked questions in the world. Usually followed by something to do with a choice, this or that, should I do it?

What should I do? Tell, or not. Keep it locked up inside eating away at me, or tell someone my “problem”. Well, at least I think it’s a problem, but other people might not see it as I do: a curse.
Whenever I say “what if “, dot dot dot, it happens! The world changes, yeah, only for a day, but still to whatever I say. Nobody asks questions, its as if this “world” is normal and has been here forever, and everyone has lived this way for their entire lives. Its weird, but you’d think that out loud I would say “what if I could never do this again”. Well, first off, I’ve tried. Results. Never happened.
Apparently, I cant make it go away by saying “what if”. Plus, another great little ‘rule’ as I’ve come to call them is that I have to say it out loud. Not necessarily to someone or around someone, just out loud, not that they’d remember if I said it to them anyway, right . . . right?
Wanna know my story? Open up and find out al about my weird and strangely normal enough life.

All you wanted or needed to know about everything?

Back in the 80s I saw an “oversize” book in my local library called something like - but not exactly – “All you ever wanted or needed to know about everything”, or something like that.

It was actually drawn in the style of a comic book, with several – probably 6 to 8 - panels on each page. The drawings were not coloured though, just very plain black and white. They were very rough and very simple.

It was rather like a history of the world with lots of science, philosophy, art and culture thrown in too. How thought and knowledge grew up into what we know today. The drawings were of a very poor quality, very hurried, but I can see that what the author was trying to do was to get ALL aspects of knowledge, from history to nuclear physics, into one illustrated book that was very easy to read – just like a kid’s comic, but for adults who wanted to improve their education! I stress that it was serious and not humorous. It had just about everything you could think of in it.

The author was definitely a man. I think he was a British author.

I have googled several street names from the book, the name of the neighborhood (East Buckingham), and the park that Katie is killed in, but so far, I can't find it. I like to look at maps when I read a book that's set in a real place, so I can visualize where the story is at. So....anyone know?

You see, I've been on the site before, and I've found a few of the easter eggs she has hidden around, but when I went on it (it's been a while since I've been there), I can't click anything other than the links. I've tried to click the book in the links section to find the key and I can't lift the eraser in the extra stuff. I also can't even get the spider on the front screen. It just won't CLICK them. I don't know why, considering I've done it before on the same computer. I have Windows 98, Internet Explorer 6, and cable internet. Can anyone please help?

This is a great “young adult” novel (if you think the cursing is ok). My question is what style do you think Davis was trying to write in and over-all did you like it?

So, what are the similarities between Eragon and Star wars (and other books if you know about)?

The other question is, what is the line between plagiarism and original work? i mean, if i write a book where and boy(at one month old) loses his parents when an evil power kills them. (Would that be a plagiarism from Harry potter or not, of course say the rest of the story is totally different, except for that magic exists in the story)?

Okay, here is the essay prompt: Is Emma, by Jane Austen, about important things or trivial things? Defend your answer. My essay is going to say that the book itself is about trivial things, however the underlying messages and themes are important insights into women of the 19th century. What are the important things in this novel? So far I only have that it reveals the small world of women, the rigidity of social standards, and marriage being based only on social standing & money. Are there any other suggestions? Help please please please.
