Who votes for the name Annalisa March (March being a last name) And who votes for Heather, or Sage. Or... Is Sage a guy's name?? Anyway, if you have any other ideas, tell me.

I have always thought it was pronounced Zoo-ey.

If Salinger would of liked Zachary Glass' nickname to be said Z-oh-e he would have spelt it Zoe, not Zooey! Does anyone know for sure?

Such as Modesitt's saga of Recluce, or Gavriel Kay's Fionavar tapestry. The latest I have read is The Hickory staff (second book to come). Any more like that? Where the main characters are taken to a world and given magical powers...

A Brown Girl Dead <-- Title

With two white roses on her breasts,
White candles at head and feet,
Dark Madonna of the grave she rests;
Lord Death has found her sweet.

Her mother pawned her wedding ring
To lay her out in white;
She'd be so proud she'd dance and sing
To see herself tonight

My memories of this book are vague, so please bear with me. It's about a wolf and a young girl....In the wintertime...And it's not Julie of the Wolves, I know that for sure...It takes place in Alaska, with Mt. Everest, but they call it Denali up there...Silver might've been the wolf's name but I'm not entirely sure...Anyone have ANY idea what I'm talking about? Please give me any info if you can...Thank you!

How can I tell if the book I found is an original edition. it only has one copywrite date (the original date), but the dustcover marks it as an award winner- thus not the original copy. (Plus- there seems to be a NUMBER of early dustcovers to this book).

I understand there are also Book Club Editions...and i don't know if it's that either- though there aren't markings to indicate that.

Thanks!
