I review YA (young adult) books on my blog site. But I'd have to say my purpose is not to help students get out of reading books for school assignments. So if you're looking for reviews, you'll find plenty. But not really chapter summaries, etc.

As far as finding them other places, Amazon is good about listing a few professional reviews along with customer reviews. And for chapter summaries cliffnotes and sparknotes websites are the way to go, but they mostly do classics not contemporary books.

For short stories I would have to say Authorsden. You will also find poetry there as well.
