Why not look on www.waterstones.co.uk the site may give you some ideas!!

My daughter is 11 and asked if she could read a book of mine called UGLY by Constance Briscoe this is a fantastic book, I did think that may be its would be a bit hard going for an 11 year old but she loved it and it was great to talk about a book with my child.

I have always told my kids "read as many books as you can" I love reading but 10 years ago i woul not have picked a book up even if you paid me cause i could not read very well.

So whati am trying to say is dont think it may not be suitable just ask them what they would like to read.

"A Great and Terrible Beauty" and the sequel "Rebel Angels" by Libba Bray. The third one isn't out yet but it is titled "The Far Sweet Things".

P.S. I think the book that laney_po meant is "I'd Tell You I Love You But Then I'd Have To Kill You".

'Boys Will Put You On A Pedestal (So They Can Look Up Your Skirt)' by Philip Van Munching. It is not a novel, but he writes about things he wants his daughters to know. He takes a humorous approach to serious topics.
