times of a witch. i have loved witches from chilhood in a sexual way. but the i read this book and then feel in love with them in a very different non sexual way. i truly came to feel them and appreciate them for what they had become. does anyone know what i'm talking about?

I am writing a book that is fiction. I just wanted to know if any of you like the idea of the main character looking back at past events that have happened to him/her...Or do you like the book to go in chronological order? I'm on the forensics team at my HS, but I can't think of a decent book, prose or monologue that I can present effectively. The book I wish to do is out of print and the sponsor says I should choose a piece I can "connect" with and that I should do a piece by an Asian author.Therefore, are there any good pieces of literature that I can possibly present for the team meet? There is a woman who lives with flatmates in London and as her day progresses it becomes more and more like alice in wonderland. So much so that as her roommates throw a Alice-themed party while she meets her fiance's parents for the first time, it turns into the Mad Hatters party. I just read And I Get By by Silvia Kundera and I think there was other ones that went with it. It's a gen Harry and Draco friendship story and I could swear that there are sequels. Oh, and a link to where the story is at would be nice since I hate saving livejournal sites.

I read this book and it was pheonominal. I mean it caused me to look at my own relationship with my boyfriend and it has been pretty rocky for the past 4 years. And omg it made perfect sense and made me feel stronger about leaving him.
