Is it possible for someone in their late 30's to learn how to dance? I've never been interested before, but I met this really wonderful Romanian woman in her 20's who likes to dance. I told her I would learn. (I hope I wasn't lying to her.)

say you know your strengths and weaknesses, which should you deal with first? should you feed your strengths? or should you tackle your weakness? how do you go about doing either?

I'm having my first College senior piano recital in the fall - only a half hour program, but need a solid bunch of solo selections - along the lines of Chopin's Ballades or Scherzos, Bach's Partitas, etc. I need lots of suggestions! What would YOU want to hear on a program? This isn't a competition, and I really want to give an enjoyable performance, not just out to impress. I'm not a performance emphasis, so my career isn't on the line. Pedagogy and theory emphases, so I'm looking for solid, well-written pieces that will suggest I have good taste. lol - in that case, I should probably just pick out my own stuff without asking for help, but I'm looking for some pieces that I may be overlooking.

I would like to pursue a graduate degree in Creative Writing but am wondering what your opinion is as far as it's marketable value. I would be doing it partially for my own benefit as well, but I'd like to know if any of you view a Master's degree as a good career move for an aspiring creative non-fiction writer.

...yes or no?

For a person who loves travel writing and books written by Mary Kingsley, Joseph Conrad, Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Bruce Chatwin, what kind of books would you recommend from Africa or from the Arabic world? Thank you in advance!

Ever since my son hit puberty, I've noticed that one of his balls is bigger than the other, and the other is even bigger than that one.

The book was fairly thick, for teens, and was one of those "bright young career girls before marriage type". Read in the 60's, but probably from before that. Careers are up for grabs but I'm pretty sure one was stewardess, one office/typist, and the other ? I'll know it when I hear/see it. It was for young people, not adults and was written in the light style of Cherry Ames, or Vickie Barr, Flight Stewardess (but not one of those series - I have them all). Previous answer which was voted for 5 times apparently (a way to rack up points I guess) by the person who answered it (and closed out the question prematurely) was definately not correct.

Can anyone think of any really good examples of characters in literature (any literature though preferably quite well-known) that are anti-heroes?

Thanks
