I remember reading a book quite a while ago, but can't remember specifics like the name or character's names. I'm interested in reading it again, but can't recall many details. All i can remember is that there was a brother and a sister and they lived in a time/place where their city was divided up in ranks, i think possibly by colors. But for some reason they escaped and had to go thru muddy or unsafe waters and met people there who helped them, i think they harvested potatoes in mud. Eventually they moved forward and there was a princess involved and lots more. I know this isnt a very good description, but its all i remember. Do you have any idea of what this series could be?

Isn't it insane for an Army not to retreat when it is not going to win a battle or a war? Isn't it responsible for the politicians to change the course? Even the lion has to go home alone and lick his wounds after he is defeated by a rival. The nature of the female lion is cruel. She is constantly looking for a new suitor, just like Satan is constantly trying to drag nations into war...yes or no?

I thought the Huns defeated the Germanic peoples: Goths, Franks, etc. Didn't the Germans pay tribute to Attila the Hun for a temporary peace?

I realize this means you can't have it both ways, but it is still ridiculous. Since when in cake supposed to be not eaten and looked at like a painting? Marie Antoinette did not agree with this -- or at least the person who slandered her didn't. Was the person who made up the famous "Let them eat cake" line of the Austrian queen was secretly part of the "anti-cake eating crowd"? What do the "cake havers" suggest the pastry chefs do to supplement their incomes to make up for decreased cake consumption? Invent nonsensical sayings? Are the "cake havers" freemasons or fascists who wanted to start the French Revolution? Aren't these people guilty of their own dangerous ideology? Aren't they trying "to have their cake and eat it too" by creating chaos at the expense of the sanity of the human race?
