A few nights ago, I popped some corn, and left a little of it on a kitchen counter. The next day, I noticed several kernels on the bathroom floor. I asked my husband if he was eating popcorn in the bathroom. He said no.

My conclusion was that maybe we have a mouse, who took some in there. I have never seen any mouse droppings anywhere, or anything. No evidence of mice, except popcorn in the bathroom. I bought some mouse poison when we went into town that day.

Later noticed that the kernels are all gone. Husband claims to know nothing about this. I didn't pick them up.

What do you think is going on?

I cannot handle having blood drawn... I get really wussy about it. I know a lot of people feel that way. But Im perfectly fine with getting pierced, I have 9. I think veins freak me out. Does anyone else feel this way, or am I just special?

In an age where you can go to your doctor and get a prescription for "restless leg syndrome" or "chronic fatigue syndrome" or "syndrome syndrome" you would think that the pharmaceutical companies would work to find a drug to give people that have proven hypochondria. Some kind of psychological drug that would supress the part of the brain that causes psychosomatic symptoms.

Just wondering... and, no, this isn't a "joke" question. I have a friend who is a serious hypochondriac and would probably benefit from such a drug.

How would this be prescribed? You would think a doctor would have to "trick" a patient and tell them it's for something else that they've come complaining about.
