Well, I am a chemist. This is actually a weak acid. Anything below 7 for a pH is considered a weak acid. Once you reach between 7 and 0, then it becomes a strong acid. Something like Sulfuric Acid, Hydrochloric acid, or the Worlds strongest acid (Hydrofluoric acid which can eat glass) are classed as strong acids. Things like Amino acids for our diet are weak acids. Anything above 7 is considered a base, something like Sodium Hydroxide is a base, it is also a strong base. In a nutshell, pH of 6 is a weak acid because it is close to neutral pH. Hope this helps.

it would be a weak acid. strong acids would have pH 0, 1, 2. as the pH gets closer to 7. it becomes weaker cause the 7 is neutral.

A solution with a pH of 7 is neutral, 1 is strongly acidic which makes pH 6 weakly acidic.
