I cannot handle having blood drawn... I get really wussy about it. I know a lot of people feel that way. But Im perfectly fine with getting pierced, I have 9. I think veins freak me out. Does anyone else feel this way, or am I just special?

I terrified of needles! When I got pregnant everybody was like "Girl, you have to get over that... you are going to have a lot of needles stickin you throughout your pregnancy." And I ended up having a lot due to dehydration (because of morning sickness). But I've had some freaky experiences with them that I think freak me out. This lady was moving around on a chair that rolls one day looking for tubes while holding a needle that was stuck into me and the needle came out another part of my skin. And also I had to have an IV one time and they got the IV in my tissue instead of my vein and my arm had swelled up to be about 5 times its normal size! Have you had a bad experience?

No, you're not the only one. Needles don't bother me at all (they did when I was younger but they don't anymore) but I used to work at a doctors' office and we had all kinds of patients faint when they got bloodwork done! We even had one guy that a bunch of the lab techs had to hold down for bloodwork because he wouldn't quit screaming! And this guy was in 50s!

Ugh! I have chills just thinking about it. The thought of bloodwork is too much for me to take. As for piercings - my ears are pierced once. That's it. Tattoos? Zero. A simple flu vaccine sends me into a panic attack!

Way too creepy for me to handle.

I feel that way and I am trained to draw blood and I still almost faint anytime they tell me I have to have blood work done. AND I have given birth -- go figure.

Doesn't bother me. And I don't even do heroin.
