How would I find the formula for this sequence: 1, 3/2, 5/4, 7/8, 9/16, 11/32, 13/64, 15/128. I know the that 2 is added to the numerator, and the denominator is multiplied by 2. I don't know where to go from there.

Hi! A nice atheist wants to know...
When you talk about Jesus dying for mankind's sins, you make it seem like it was such a sad and terrible thing that he died. However, if he hadn't died, think of the consequences. Would the Christian religion be the same? What if he had lived to be an old man? Besides, he knew he had to do this for mankind. People still die for causes today, and none for such an important one.
Yet people are angry with the "Christ killers." Shouldn't the "Christ killers" be praised, for making the Christian religion what it is?

Every major news station barely covers this guy. On msnbc tomorrow there is a debate between all the major Republican candidates. Ron Paul is the best candidate to come up in years. Seriously if everyone knew who he was he would be president for sure. If you wanna look him up go to ronpaul2008.com and click on issues for his opinions on the major issues facing the U.S. There is no way you can disagree with anything he says. Fox News, CNN, MSNBC and all other stations will have failed in their attempt to keep him hidden when tommorow night the entire U.S gets to view this man's greatness. Vote Ron Paul in 2008 and check him out on MSNBC tomorrow.

Brief Overview of Congressman Paul’s Record
He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.

I'm an atheist, and have been for the last year or so.

I won't get into too much boring detail, but the one thing I really miss is having faith in "God" to get me through some difficult situations from time to time.

I guess it's like missing an invisible friend I had for a number of years. I know it sounds like mental illness, but I just mean when you are used to depending on something for a long time it's a hard habit to break.

Oh well, I guess the comfort should be in following the truth, right?

Sounds like a retarded question and probably is but this is how I see things... having a house, food, and insurance covered. Reading is free, Weight-lifting is free after buying weights, and enjoying the time you have is free (what more do you need?). I don't get the strive for $100,000 a year. The average American income is $24,000 and that is like a janitor's job. Make enough to know you don't have things so you can appreciate them. Will the huge house you barely live in be better than having a home that you can spend the time doing things to improve your life? (self-improvement is better in my mind. having the best toaster and the fastest cars isn't self-improvement) With coarse rice to eat, with water to drink, and my bended arm for a pillow - I have still joy in the midst of these things. Riches and honors acquired by unrighteousness are to me as a floating cloud. - Confucius, The Confucian Analects

Me and her are now hanging out more and leaving Erin with Brittany (my other friend) i left them and now hang out with joe and tina at break and lunch. I told tina yesterday i liked joe. I just purchased a Siamese Fighting Betta Saturday past. I have made certain to keep him isolated in a nice sized bowl away from extremes (heat, cold, noise).

I also purchased Betta-Min food.

I have sprinkled food into the bowl and he doesn't seem eager to eat. I will walk away and come back and he still hasn't eaten. I normally have to clean the food particles out of the bowl after a few hours. I am not sure if he is just eating what he wants and leaving the rest. It's been like this since Saturday.

Is it possible that the Betta is going through some sort of depression after being taken from the Pet Shop? I know that they are typically animals that are content with solitude...but I think this one is lonely.

Hubby discovered e-mails, printed them & gave them to my parents. I don't think I did anything wrong. I'm not happy in my marriage & haven't been happy for a couple of years. Two children are the reason I have stayed. I'm not upset about him finding the e-mails - I've become emotionally detached in the marriage. I view this as my chance to leave the marriage - but I'm conflicted because of the children & financial obligations. I know Hubby will never trust me again & I travel a lot so I don't look forward to being constantly watched & questioned for the rest of my life. I've never cheated on Hubby after dating & being married for 10 years. I feel that if I want to leave the marriage, now is the time. If I don't, I'll never leave & be stuck in an unhappy marriage for the rest of my life - which will probably affect my children. I'd appreciate comments/insights on what to do to make the best/right decision.
