I'm Catholic and I believe in the 6 days of work and Adam and Eve. That is faith.

From school we learn that man started out from the form of an ape and we also were taught of the other things that came before man - dinosaurs and other creatures. And all these can be scientifically proven.

Does anyone think the two schools of thoughts can fit together? If not, which one do you believe in more?

I'm reading a book called the Quantum Society by Danah Zohar and she suggest that quantum physics enters many areas of real life.
She talks a lot about the wave of infinite possibilites (like an infinite shrodinger's cat) collapsing into one possibility. Such as deciding upon one course of action out of many ideas. Composing one particlar melody from the myriad of possible notes and timings. Me writing this particular sentence out of all the things i could have said.
She also suggests that these kinds of wave function collapses happen on other levels like in evolution, where genes show a prediposition to evolve beyond mere chance - as in the work of adaptive biology of J Cairns.
I'm a beginner with all this but it's got me thinking. Zohar even suggested that as measurement can collapse a wave function, perhaps it's our very attitudes that are an equivalent of the measurement and partially create the reality that we experience.

I had a severe case of hemorrhagic cytitis April 4,they did a blood test that time to make sure I wasn't having an ectopic preg.or miscarriage and it was negative for pregnancy.Dr.gave me a pelvic/vaginal exam and she said it wasn't coming from my vagina at all.Yesterday I decided to use a home pregnancy test because my last menstrual period was March 9 and it was positive!!! Should I be alarm and be checked out right away due to possibility of an incomplete miscarriage?Im not bleeding or anything right now,I was just concerned maybe that bleeding that I have April 4 was a miscarriage but then why the blood test was negative for pregnancy that time?Thanks guys I would really appreciate any input.

There is a position open in my work place. When the girl that has the job is out of the office, I feel the job. She has the degree and I do not. She will be out of the office starting in June and will not be back until December. My boss wants to me to fill the position because I know how to do the job and they won't have to train anyone else. When the president of the company found out about this he was upset because I didn't have a college degree. I start school in July. The thing that upsets me is that I already do the job when she is out and now he is making a big deal of it. Please help. I need to understand this.
