Question in more detail: If there is an Organization for Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) that dictates the supply of oil, could there be an Organization for Petroleum Importing Countries (OPIC) that dictates the demand for oil?

Basically, the reason why OPEC had much power before was because of the fact that oil-importing countries were fragmented and they have less buying power. For example, given the wanning influence of OPEC, could oil-importing countries unite and dictate where to buy oil and at what quantity?

What is the implication of this type of system, and could it exist and stay in power just like OPEC?

Some question to work out the economist in you...

i`ve never had problems with my computer mouse but right now it`s not working properly! it can`t left click; only right click. i`m getting tired of navigating everything through the keyboard.. i tried unplugging & replugging & i`ve also tried restarting the computer.. my aunt did something through my computer.. maybe she messed something up?? Could this story make sense if we say that Satan is not a conscious being, but is only the bad feelings (for want of a better word), like wanting to murder somebody, we must all overcome? If we act on these bad feelings, we get guilt, self pity, and other negative emotions sending us in a downward spiral. Maybe hell is these negative emotions and heaven is the release from these emotions.
If the bible was looked at from this point of view, would it make a difference in Christianity?


Wanting to murder somebody is just an example, if you prefer, just substitute it with the seven deadly sins, or whatever negativity you want.

i had a small faucet leak in my bathtub for about a week, when my landlord came by to see my apt- he saw it and come by the next day to fix it. he said that it was caused because of some repairs he made. a few days later i recieved a copy of the water bill for the last 2 months for the building, and the bill was double from last month. Then told me i was responsible since i had not reported it to him earilier. The building uses the same water heater plus he says i used 100$ worth. my lease says landlord pays for water. can he do this????????/

Where did it come from?

Finding God starts by admitting failure and guilt. Jesus taught that conviction of sin precedes forgiveness and escape from judgement. God, who fashioned our conscience, speaks to us through the Bible more clearly than a satellite transmits to a television set! His message is that we need His pardon and cleansing.

Conscience overcomes excuses for not believing in God. An atheiest, who rejected the Ten Commandments, turned to Christ because his conscience troubled him for having broken them. God distrubs our conscience. But guilty conscience is not enough: to be forgiven a person must turn to Jesus Christ through personal repentance and trust.
