i`ve never had problems with my computer mouse but right now it`s not working properly! it can`t left click; only right click. i`m getting tired of navigating everything through the keyboard.. i tried unplugging & replugging & i`ve also tried restarting the computer.. my aunt did something through my computer.. maybe she messed something up?? HELP PLEASE!

maybe she pounded on the mouse. so, if you dont have a laser mouse, you can unscrew the case. then look at the cord that comes out of it and follow that to its plug in spot. if you pull the thing out of the socket, you can blow into the little holes in it. then, blow into the part that you unhooked the plug-in from. once you do this, put everything back together and try the mouse. i hope this helps you

If you have a Older Computer (Windows 98 or lower,I dont know about Macintoshes)thats going to happen. Get another mouse. If you have windows xp use another mouse.Right click My Computer to properties. Go to hardware then device manager. You should the words Mice and other pointing devices. It should have your mouse on there. If it says the device is not working properly do the trouble shoot. If it says its works properly still do the trouble shoot. IF that doesn't do anything just go buy a new one and make sure its not a cheap one either.

check the following

start,control panel, printers and other hardware...when u r in check all the settings..you can even change it so the RIGHT click does the navigating...good luck

Sounds like you need a new mouse.
