Bought an '05 Pontiac Vibe in Jan '05 using GMAC Smartbuy financing with a 48 month contract term. Want to turn it in now to purchase another vehicle (with cash). What are the implications/penalties involved, aside from the $250 disposal fee? Are we locked into contract until completion of 48 months? Any detail info would be appreciated!

When we pass on information to another (example: story, joke, description of something etc) by the time these details are passed on by word of mouth, interpreted by others, and then written down, the final details are typically quite different than the original information.
Since the Bible is just a man-made story passed down over many years in various forms, surely the chance of it being accurate in any shape or form is remote?
There are people who swear blind that the Loch Ness monster exists regardless of all the evidence to the contrary, but a fence post bobbing up and down in the Loch does the trick. Similarly there are people who swear blind that God exists and the Bible is fact, yet there isn’t one blind bit of evidence to support such theories.
Don’t you think that Biblical tales are really no different than Loch Ness monster tales, just the era is different?

i cut for the first time the other day...or atleast the first time that its deep enough to be noticable...and after i did it, i realised i had no way to cover them up, so i wore a hoodie all that day, but the next day i was gunna be out in 95 degree weather all day, so i couldnt do that. and i thought that i could just basicly keep my arm at an angle and position so that ppl couldnt see, but of course, i failed at that. and my bro's gf, who im just calling my sis in law right now, just came out and asked me about it while she was driving me sumwhere. she kinda caught me off guard, and i had no idea what to say. i mean, i had tried to think of sum lie incase sum1 said sumthin, but its pretty obvious what its from. so i didnt say nething, and she took that as the answer. and she said she wasnt gunna tell me to stop, cuz that could just make it worse, and that if i needed to, i could talk to her. but i just really dont know what to do. and i really hope she doesnt tell my bro or mom...

Why would anyone believe the 'we are the common man' crap that they sell in elections?
Lawyers, by and large, are trained how to twist the truth to suit their purposes and owners of big businesses are just out for the money they, themselves, can get (again, by and large).
America is NOT a business and there is no "product" to market and sell,
and twisting of the truth is not something we, as a people, need!
politics has grown into the clubhouse of screwing the american people. If we voted out every single lawyer and businessperson from washington, our country would run so mush better, hire real accountants to get the numbers in line. and make it illegal for any company to sell to the government ANYTHING at a higher price that it sells for retail!

I was watching a program in the BBC about life behind bars in UK. They interview inmates and staff and so on... In an interview with one of the counsellors, he talked a bit about the psychological therapy murderers received, and the thing is, sometimes they miss the person they have killed, and feel tortured by this, because they are finally mourning someone they killed themselves, I guess it must be torture, but after what they have done, is it fair?
Do they deserve to be treated? Or should they be left with all that guilt, grief and well, the whole psychological torture. Should we treat them as human beings and give an example of how they should treat others, without judgement. OR are we getting in the way of karma, well.. life, what’s coming to them anyway.
