It is this tilting that accounts for our four seasons and the lengthening and shortening of days and night. For this reason also, the Equator (an imaginary line drawn around the earth at equal distances from the two poles) is not always directly under the sun’s rays. For six months the earth is tilted towards the sun, and the Northern Hemisphere gets more than its share of sunlight every day. Days are longer than nights, and what is more, the sun’s rays come down more perpendicularly instead of slanting down.

Now we know that all this is caused by the movement of the earth around the sun. As the earth journeys around the sun, it spins on its own axis. This can be illustrated by a simple experiment. If you push a sharp stick through a rubber ball and twirl it with two fingers, the ball spins around in much the same way the earth is spinning at this very moment. The points where the stick comes through the ball correspond to the North and South Poles. If you twirl this ball at night directly in front of a bright light, you will notice that half the ball is lighted up while the other half is in the shade. That is just like our night and day. If you keep the stick strictly vertical to the light and twirl it at an even speed, any spot on the ball’s surface will be in the light and in the shade the same length of time.
If the earth were spinning just like this rubber ball, there would only be day and night on earth, but no seasons, and days would always be the same length as nights – 12 hours each. But that is not how the earth spins. It spins with its axis tilted. Its axis is always at the angle to the plane of its orbit – an angle of about 23 1/2 degrees.

請教慈濟人這個問題的看法?

首先申明我對慈濟的作為極為支持,只是心中有一疑問才發問.我有一好友其母再生時好友之兄都以因人住台北之原因,未對住台南的父母盡養育之行為;但當其母過世時好友之兄卻一再強調喪禮需按慈濟的方法.我的懷疑問是既然他是虔誠的慈濟人,為何在母親再生時不多少盡養育責任?反而待其母親逝世後才要求喪禮需按慈濟的方法?

If the frienship is sweet as honey, it may not be lasting for too long. Sweet honey cannot easily be used to people everyday. By the contrast, people drink water everday, right? I guess it\'s why people say \"soulmates\". In my experiences, it\'s not too easy to find a real friend who really cares about you. The people care you don\'t do things to harm you, but they do help you and encourage you. People in our society is playing mind games too much now. The frienships between people now is not good as before. What a pity!

請問一下,例如\"thousand\"

請問像這個單字要如何用自然發音背?

我自己的拆法是
th唸ㄙ
ou唸ㄠ
s唸ㄖ(可是我記得s後面接e.i.y時才會唸ㄖ)
a唸ㄜ
n幫助ㄜ發長音
d不發音

可是我覺得怪怪的= =
首先s我記得後面接e.i.y時才會唸ㄖ,還是只要母音都會?

然後我發現發音中如果有\"ㄣ\"的音,像\"thousand\"後面唸ㄖㄣˋ
ㄣ通常都是由一個發ㄜ的音,加上一個像n這樣發長音的音,會唸ㄣ
可是發ㄜ的音,所有的母音都可以轉音變成唸ㄜ,有辦法知道用哪一個嗎?還是只能用背的?

而且為什麼最後的d不發音= =

可是背到有發ㄣ的音時,通常都不知道要用哪個母音發ㄜ的音

骨罈放置於靈骨塔中是否有方位之差別

爺爺跟奶奶的骨罈(撿骨後放置的罈子, 非骨灰壇) 放置於靈骨塔中, 因為是夫妻的關係, 所以靈骨塔中是放置在相鄰的左右兩格. 今年掃墓打開格子的門發現爺爺的骨罈上的刻花(骨罈陶瓷上的浮雕)是面對門口. 但是奶奶的刻花卻是像左邊.因不確定當初長輩將爺爺奶奶放的位置是否如此,故請問:
1. 是否因為我們選擇把他們兩位的骨罈放在相鄰的兩個位置, 但是兩人的八字不同而必須將其中一人的骨罈方向轉邊?
2. 若骨罈有方向的差別, 且確定方向是錯的, 是否可將方向轉正?

因為我英文很爛所以才拜託你們翻譯內容如下

在我還再讀國中時學校舉辦了隔宿露營。我非常的興奮，因為這是我第一次去外面露營。在巴士上時教官在解說一些注意事項但我很興奮所以沒認真聽真是不好意思。到了目的地後教官先帶我們去搭帳篷的地方讓我們搭帳篷，搭好後就開始了一天的活動。一開始我們在上有關求生的技巧，例如說：認識野生植物以及常見的毒蛇等這些課程學校都沒教，故讓我覺得很有趣。到了晚上舉辦營火晚會，每班都在表演自己準備的節目，那時候的氣氛真是High到最高點。晚會結束後回到帳篷睡覺第一次睡在帳篷裡感覺真特別，讓我許久無法入睡。現在回想起來這些回憶讓我覺得以後有機會辦露營活動的話，我一定還會去參加。

書桌正衝房門可以怎樣化解20點

我的房間隔壁就是廁所
而且我的書桌剛好就靠在那面牆(雖然沒有對到馬桶)
