We are in the process of renting a vacation home and want to be sure that when we get to our destination it's not a scam. You typically have to pay the rental price up front (or a large portion of it). What are your options if you go on vacation and find that the property is not what was advertised? Once they have you rmoney, what can you do? I hate to be so untrusting, but there are so many people out there these days looking for ways to rip others off.

My Husband will be transfered to one of the cities I mentioned and he is free to choose.We are from Pune and I have to move with him alomg my 3 yr kid.Which will be better interms of Infrastructure,polution,traffic & other basic facilities.Good food joints,cafe,Malls will be added advangae although we can manage without them? What is double occupancy room in a hotel? Does it mean the charge is for 1 room in which 2 people are staying?

My visa is valid until may, and i'm going to a cruise in the middle of may. I want a visitor visa to not have trouble coming back to us before i leave in the end of may to brazil. Someone told me thats really easy to get a visitors visa in the bahamas, and i could get a cruise to nassau, thats not much expensive. Did someone alread have done it?
