While it can some time be adventageous to wait to book, this is usually for times that aren't as busy and airlines need to fill seats. Such is not the case for traveling in June, booking in advance is the best way to get a deal. I would say book now. If your friend waits until the weather warms in the next month or so then people will be booking for summer and the rates will soar.

book as far in advance as you can.
Some airlines will not make reservations this early so you just have to check.
I use several websites and checked prices for several weeks before booking my flights.
Southwest usually has the cheaper rates but I do not know if they fly to England or not. Just have her check out Southwest.com and see.

It will be cheaper to book now. The Yahoo Travel page has some pretty good deals on it.

Normally if you book a flight about a month out I think it is cheaper. At least that is how it is when I fly to Montana from NY:)

Book it now. If you wait the prices may be higher and you risk not having a seat available.

Now AS SUMMER GETS CLOSER FARES SKYROCKET. The earlier the BETTER. Tell her to book her flight at midnight thats when airfares are the lowest.

As soon as possible. Prices ALWAYS rise closer to the date you wish to fly. That's because there are less seats.
