having been to Alaska a few years ago.. I know it's not a holiday destination per se and that you have to make your way to Chile [I think] to get a boat there.. but is it really an expensive/difficult undertaking if you are not a research scientist working there???

I'm not talking about getting married, falling in love, maintaining good health, etc. Here are some examples I've come up with. Now I want to know what you think:
1. Climb Mount Everest in the Himalaya Mountains.
2. Travel to all of the Natural Wonders of the World.
3. Run 5 marathons and participate in 1 triathlon.
4. Lean how to whitewater raft in increasing order of difficulty—from Class I – Class V.
5. Find a cure for something.

As I waited on the platform this morning, for my train to arrive, I saw the new Wembley stadium in the distance through the cold mist and beyond that I could see the old London Telecom Tower. I felt a warm tinggle inside as I thought how nice London really is. Then when I arrived at work I saw the Gherkin building.

So I wondered if anyone else sees any other famous landmarks everyday, and perhaps takes them for granted. It's easily done!

I was just thinking about what I would like to do before I get old, and I realized that I didn't really know. Feel free to say what you would do there also. Like climb Mt. Everest, go bungee-jumping in New Zealand, go on a road trip through America...
