Depends on your interests, available time off from work, & your budget. If time & money aren't a factor, overseas, Hawaii, or a cruise might work, but stateside vacations or even going to resort areas in the off season might be your cup of tea. You may not do everything that you want, but you will have less crowds or lower costs. I honeymooned in Myrtle Beach, SC. Camped in the Smoky Mountains of NC & TN a year later.

One of the Hawaiian islands if you are in/near the west coast.
Maybe Jamaica or Bahamas if the east coast.
Hawaii is fun, safe and clean, and you don't need the passport and less hassle to fly because it's the US.
If you enjoy outdoor and seek serenity Maui would be the perfect choice: rain forest, hiking, fishing, and of course great snorkeling and diving.
If you seek more vivid, city-oriented feeling, Oahu/Waikiki would never go wrong: friendly beachs, fun luaus, lots of delicious food(all kinds and all prices), and GREAT shoppings! (Hawaii's sales tax is about 4.25% - a lot less than the most U.S. major cities)
Anyway, I wish you a long happy life together!

This really depends on your budget. But any place with a strong sturdy bed is always a good choice.
