It's about a carat and a half, not too gaudy but I get comments on it all the time because it's very shiny because it's perfectly cut. I'd like to bring it with me instead of just the band but I'm not sure if I'm going to attract negative attention that way. I don't doubt Indian women wear diamond rings....I'm just not sure what to do.

The temple I am referring to is a Swaminarayan temple (but its not Akshardham) its a normal average size temple itself but has this large building out back used for accommodating guests and they arrange tours for them as well.

I'm sure its in New Delhi maybe I think I remember someone mentioning it was about 2-3 KM from train station.

Anyone know where I am on about and how I can get their contact details or preferably a website. I looked my self but all I keep getting is info on Akshardham.

I've read that in India, children may tease or insult each other by showing their thumb and saying 'thengaa'. Is that true? If so, is the spelling of 'thengaa' right, and what does it mean? I also read that showing your thumb at someone and calling them 'anghutaachaap' implies that you're calling them illiterate. How true is that? And would that be something done by adults as well as children?
