some three years before there was a reservation quota from the station where computer passanger reservation system (cprs) was not installed. but now 90percent of mail and express trains which have halt at the stations have (cprs)and over all 78 percent of all the indian railway station have cprs. so there is no quota facilty. the remaining 22 percent railway stations which do not have cprs are mostly the balance stations which do not have a express or mail train halt. but they have quota for some express and mail train. for that quota ticket if you need details you can get from that railway stations or from zone wise railway timetable book.if you want more detail mail me with clear question

they take Rs40 per head for online ticket reservation
it is much comfortable tha n standing in a long queue
