I heard that women in india put thier hair up or try to protect because some people will cut it right off thier head while they're turned around and then sell it for Big Bucks!!

Hi guys. I bought a pair of bangles in Prince Jewellery, Panagal park, Chennai in 2005 and within a year it turned dark and ugly. My wife it took it for an exchange with them last month. Alas.. they said that they wont take back that stuff but they want another Rs.3000 for replacing it. This is almost penalising, or simply calling, "pukka cheating". Is there any guarentee that the second replace that they gave me will last for more than a year?
So every piece of gold we buy there are not worth the heavy price we pay?? Even our cooking vessels which we buy for Rs.50 lasts for 5 years but the jewel which we buy for lakhs of rupees wont last for even a year?
What should I do? I mailed them but since I didnt get any proper response from them, I'm planning to take this to the court and sue them for forgery. Any advice?

Hello - I have always wanted to go to India and would like to go in July but I think it is the monsoon season then.

Should I risk it or is it definately not advisable?

Kingfisher has agreed to pay Rs 550 crore (Rs 5.5 billion) for 26 per cent stake in the budget carrier Air Deccan, promoted by Capt G R Gopinath.

The stake acquisition through preferential allotment would also trigger an open offer of 20 per cent.

With this extra buck in it kitty, will Air Deccan be able to expand its fleet and revamp its services?

Do you think the 'common man' (which happens to be Air Deccan's mascot) will benefit from this deal?

Or is this the beginning of the end of low-cost air travel?

I read a bio on her on wikipedia, and her parents both have Indian names, so I assume they are Indian. But she looks nothing like a common Indian person. It is genetically unfeasable for someone to look like that and be a full Indian. Just having green eyes is almost impossible with pure Indian blood...
