Himachal is a vast and difficult geographical area to travel into. Though it is one of the best places in India ( I always enjoy visiting various parts in Himachal Pradesh in various seasons... I say , my fav place), it is not possible to enjoy in 1 week all the charms that the place offers.

What you can do is choose a specific area and explore it.

Chamba area is worth exploring in a week. You can stay either at Dalhousie or Chamba. I always prefer Chamba for various options around the town. The town itself has a 1000 year history. Many ancient temples, mighty Ravi river, hugh chaughan (by HP standards), well kept museum, nice weather this time of the year are the plus points.

You can visit Dalhousie, Khajjiar (via Kalatope sanctuary) in a day.

You can visit Churasi temples complex. Mesmerising. You can go to Bharmour. You can even visit Dharamshala and Mcleodgunj ( Dalai Lama's places) from Chamba.

Alternately, you can do the Solan, Mandi, Kullu, Naggar, Manali circuit. But to do it in a week will be bit taxing. Lots of travel.

You can be in Sanla valley, too. Kaza, Rekong Peo etc. But it's very tiring and out of the way for a period of 1 week. Else it's a very interesting option.

Now the package will differ on the places you opt for. Chamba circuit is easiest on the wallet and I will say "value for money." You can stay in Hotel Irawati ( Rs.550 to Rs.1200 per room per day). Food is classic here and comparatively cheaper ( by Mumbai standards, a lot cheaper). You can hire taxis to roam around. Manali circuit is the costliest. Accomodation is not at all cheap. Food also costs on the higher side. Rekong Peo is also costlier and I do not think you should attempt this for a period of a week. You need more time in this circuit.

I wish you memorable tour.

I think it will be in the range from 50K to 1L. considering the long distance travel. You have not mentioned the place from where you will start your journey.
