We have never been to France and we'd like a list of things that would help us make a start on making plans. Could anyone please help?
Such as travel, (ferry and so on.)

I am planning a Honeymoon to England and France, and would like to tour the Loire valley. Any suggestions for which castles to visit, and the the best way to get there? Renting a car versus organized tour!?! Are there any tours of the valley that leave from Paris?

I am living in Germany (near Frankfurt) and would like to travel to Normandy to see the any WWII memorials and the beaches where the invasion took place. I would appreciate any input people have on where to stay, what to see, what they did while there, and about how long one should set aside to spend there. I plan on traveling by train, will rely on local transport and foot travel while there, and do not speak French. Any thoughts?

Hey everyone,

My friends and I are going to Biarritz in just over 3 weeks.I'm bisexual and wonder what the Gay/Bi/Straight scene is like there.

What are the prices like for food, drink etc etc?

What are the people like?

Would it be worth our while to travel to Spain to get alcohol or should we try it in France because I hear the legal age is 18 (Even though the net says 16).

Myself and a few ladyfriends were considering visiting a wine producing region in the south of France. One of the girls suggested we should all try grape crushing by foot, as she says this is the traditional method! I'm not sure whats involved in this method of crushing the grapes and was wondering if any other women have experienced this and if they could describe whats involved!
