Millions of British people visit France every year because they have recognised the very special qualities that France possesses, it is very, very different from the UK not only in it's physical attractions that range from mountain valleys, volcanic hills, forests, lakes, river gorges, to atlantic and mediterranean beaches, from a hot mediterreanian sun to a cool north european summer, but also it's gastranomical delights, frogs legs being one of them. The French people are wonderfully frendly, unlike some other countries inhabitants.
Don't take my word, go there with an open mind and believe.

I am British and live in France, give me this country any day to the UK, why?
Friendly people
Great food
Better wine
Cheaper standard of living, so more for your euro.
Longer lunch breaks
Pride in their enviroment, dust bins everywhere
Table in a restaurant for the WHOLE night [honestly]
Nowadays spotless public conveniences
Leave my car unlocked in town and its still there when I return
No hoodies, not fashionable at all here
Young women dressed smartly, no trainers, no bare midriffs, only in summer.
Children behave correctly in restaurants and shops.
The list goes on, its like the UK was 50 years ago.

I used to think of France as a country I had to drive through on my way to Spain.Due to car breakdowns, getting lost, needing somewhere for an overnight stay, etc. ,I had to interact with a number of French people, and have almost without exception found them friendly, helpful and with no rancour towards the British. Now I plan my route to spend more time in France, taking in the scenery, mingling with the people, and soaking up the friendly atmosphere.

Me, I'm flying back home to France for a few days for holidays after a long 16 months stay in China. It will be good to see my family, to eat frogs, maybe snails, without a doubt eat cheese.

well, if history is anythign to go by, france was the host of both World wars, when round three of the World War championships kicks off, I know for a fact france will host it, that's the only time i want to go there, and even then, I'd point my rifle at the frogs, as I think everybody else would!

75 million people.

This is the number of tourists France got in 2004. More than Italy (39 million), more than the US (42 million) and more than its own population (63 million)
