I am thinking about exploring parts fo Eastern Europe in the summer of 2007. However, I am on a student budget and so I am limited. I have started looking for different options, for example I have seen like coach tours that cover countries like the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and this is most likely the area I would aim for. Nevertheless, I still have this issue with the cost as what I generally see is overbudget or covers a small area. I just would like to know of ways of me exploring this area more cheaply and if there are any companies that you know of that could help.

Thankyou!!

I am traveling to Europe from the US. Thinking of taking a flight to Somewhere in Italy, and then take the plane from Italy to Croatia.
What are some websites I can buy cheap plane tickets from?

I purchased a Eurail train pass (France'n Italy, youth, 4 days in 2 months) on 12/23/2006, and I am planning to use it in France on 4/15/2007. Will it still be valid? (i.e. Will a Eurail pass be valid in 2007, even though I purchased it in 2006?)

I'm a budget minded traveler and am interested in the single best tourbook complete with roadmaps. I want it to be the single "bible" that guides us through our trip. It would be nice if this book contained budget hotels and/or subway maps. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm visiting both counties for a total of sixteen days in May. Advice on either country would be helpful.

I'm looking for hidden gems, off the beaten path sort of things. Tourist traps are easy enough to find, loves, I don't need help with that! :)

Merci.

I am planning a European Roadtrip this spring (Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France) and I was wondering if my AAA card will help me save money while I'm over there. I'm mostly wondering if I can save money on hotels/hostels and car rental compies. Which specific car rentals companies have a AAA card discount? Is the discount substantial? Thank you all so much in advance!!
