I am planning a European Roadtrip this spring (Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France) and I was wondering if my AAA card will help me save money while I'm over there. I'm mostly wondering if I can save money on hotels/hostels and car rental compies. Which specific car rentals companies have a AAA card discount? Is the discount substantial? Thank you all so much in advance!!

A few of the European hotel and car rental companies take the AAA card, but AAA (American Automobile Association) is primarily an American company and most of the discounts you get are inside the US only. The discounts, when available, can sometimes be substantial but I've found the same rates or better by just visiting the hotel web sites and booking directly with them.
