Which hotel would you recommend that we post stay after the cruise before our return flight home? nearer to airport or Vancouver town??

I am taking an Alaskan Cruise, 7 days, and a 3 day land tour following up into Danali National park via train. Has anyone done this trip before?? I would love to be able to talk with someone about their experience on the ship, their shore excursions, how things went, the weather? We are leaving July 30th and returning August 10th. Anyone have a trip like this?

My friends and I were thinking about taking the 4 day mexico cruise. But I heard mixed reviews about it. Some say its just a bunch of old people. Does anyone reccomend a cruise line for the younger crowd? More of a party boat?

My boyfriend and I are going on vacation this summer, (he's 19, I'm 18) and we were thinking about going on a cruise.

we have just about $2000 to spend, including airfare, and my boyfriend doesn't have a passport (or time to get one )

what cruise options do we have?

Has anyone noticed a difference in the Royal Caribbean cruises staterooms between interior and large interior. I was wondering if it was worth the small bit of extra money for another 6 square feet? Or if anyone can tell me exactly how much 6 square feet is? Thanks!

Despite the fact that final payments were made two months ago, P&O called telling us that our group booking for six people on one of their cruises - due to leave the following day, mind you - had to be cancelled because they were overbooked. They've offered a full refund and a free cruise, but that's beside the point. The sheer amount of disrespect and disregard they've shown is infuriating. The night before!!! I'd just like to know if this happens on a regular basis to people with P&O. Surely there are laws against regularly overbooking cruises and flights, aren't there?

Planning a family cruise in July on The Crown out of NY to Bermuda...5 adults, kids 19, 18, 15, 5 & 3. Anyone been on this ship? Reading lots of mixed reviews on freestyle cruising & NCl, and since we are limited to the 1st 2 weeks in July for travel, this is the best deal we have found so far....

I am going on a Carnival Cruise in the end of August to the Eastern Caribbean. I would like anyone who actually has been on a Carnival cruise or on a cruise that time of year to tell me what I can expect. By the way, the ship we are going on is the Miracle.

I will be travelling on the Carnival cruise ship Fantasy with my boyfriend in May. He is only 19 and I was wondering if he will be able to get into the clubs even though he isn't 21 and can't drink.

I'm connected to wireless. We'll be at sea for 19 days on a Norweigan Lince cruise, ending on land in Belgium & France for four days. I'll be downloading digital pictures and emailing family/friends. Is it worth it??

Below is the statement that is made to me, if I pick that type of cabin.

cabin guarantee means that in return for the assurance that your actual assignment will be at least equal to the cabin category purchased, you agree that:

Final cabin category and location (including deck) are at the total discretion of the cruise line.

You will not be given your cabin assignment until check-in at the pier on cruise departure day.

If you are taking a 14 month old on a cruise, should you bring a car seat for shore excursions which may involve bus rides? It is to alaska, so I would assume they have the same regulations on children being in car seats, right??

I am going on a Royal Caribbean cruise next year in February and I was just wondering what are some good things to do on the boat and off the boat. The boat is called Freedom of the Seas and it is stopping at Haiti, Jamaica, Cozumel, and either Costa Maya or some place else that has to words in it. Thanks and I hope you look into going on a cruise, too.

Are the programs actually fun and you meet new people, or are they too structured, strict, and not worth it? I've been on a cruise before but I ignored the teen program and went on my own path. Im going on one in the summer and I am thinking of whether or not to join it.

I've never been on a cruise and i hear that in the dining room its formal, i rather not get dressed in a suit and tie, but if the food is that much better ill do it. Is it stuffy in the dining room? Is the food as good elsewhere on the ship. By the way I'm going on Royal Caribbean, Voyager of the Seas.

I understand that we are not allowed to bring our own soda or water onboard Carnival cruise ship but do they have any other rules about liquids or anything that we cannot take? I am so use to flying restrictions that I thought I should ask.

She says since she has motion sickness, then she would need to stay in an oceanview cabin. Does it make a difference? Will it help tremendously? Or should I tell her to take some drugs. :)
