I came back 4-5 hrs ago after a 7 day cruise to Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo on the Pride. And I absolutely loved it. Does anyone know what are the best and worst carnival cruise ships? i heard the victory was pretty good. What do you think?

I gotta agree with previous poster about the layout of the Destiny. It is not a good layout at all. So I avoid the Destiny class ships.

I love the Inspiration. That is one of my favorite ships. I would love to sail on it, or any of its sister ships. Thats in the Fantasy class. They are smaller but I love the intimate smaller feel.

I also love the Conquest class. It's just cool b/c they are so big. And new. I'd love to go on the Freedom cause it just came out and you know everything is brand new. I've never been on the Spirit class but I probably will on the next cruise.

I'd say the worst ship is Holiday cause it's the oldest and all the other ships that old were retired.

Fantasy Class
* Fantasy
* Ecstasy
* Sensation
* Fascination
* Imagination
* Inspiration
* Elation
* Paradise

Destiny Class
* Carnival Destiny
* Carnival Triumph
* Carnival Victory

Spirit Class
* Carnival Spirit
* Carnival Pride
* Carnival Legend
* Carnival Miracle

Conquest Class
* Carnival Conquest
* Carnival Glory
* Carnival Valor
* Carnival Liberty
* Carnival Freedom

Splendor Class
* Carnival Splendor

I have been on 3 Carnival cruises. One aboard Miracle, Destiny and Spirit. Our next cruise will be on Liberty in October. The best ship so far has been the Miracle. I did not like the layout of the Destiny very confusing. Liberty is the same class of ship as Destiny so I already know in advance of the trouble it will be. Spirit class ships have the best layout and design. They are all really nice ships and I never really had a problem.

I have been on many cruises and cruise lines and it really depends on what you are looking for... For your honeymoon, it might be nice to have a balcony - enjoying drinks on your private balcony is a nice experience as the ocean goes by; a window is a window - yes, you won't spend a ton of time in your room, but it is nice to wake up to sunlight from your window. Inside cabins are always cheaper and if you don't care, then don't waste your money! Search the website for the larger cabins (floors 7-8-9 are sometimes bigger). I have had horribly small rooms at the bottom and last time had a lovely room with a porthole window - BUT it was at the front and we heard and felt the anchor drop everytime we got to port - like 4 am! Cruises are great - my favourite vacations. Maybe for your honeymoon you could talk a travel agent into an upgrade to a balcony but really, you will not be living in your room. Have a great trip!

We went on the Paradise Carnival Cruise Line and loved it. A 4 day cruise to Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico. Soooo much fun. Would like to go to the Bahamas next and possibly use Carnival again.

I went on the Carnival Glory and totally enjoyed my cruise. The staff were friendly, and all the activities kept me busy! I especially loved the shows at night.

Carnival has a new Conquest-class ship, the Liberty, and it looks pretty luxurious :)
