Has anyone ever tried this? If so, how did you do it? If you got caught, did they just throw it away?

We are going on a cruise in 2 weeks with Royal Caribbean..There is a possibility that we will need to transfer a ticket into someone else's name.. Does anyone know the time limit in order to do that or can it even be done this close to the cruise?

Are they really a lot cheaper?
How far in advance must you book?
Are there agencies that only handle these cruises?
How can you compare the prices with the regular cruises?
I am interested in seeing the New England coast and going up to Quebec and Prince Edward island.

What, in your opinion, is the "best" cruise line, and why?
The worst?

I live on an island which is visited by cruise ships, so it seems illogical to fly elsewhere to get on the boat that's then going to come back to where I live! I understand that there are certain embarkation points, etc., but can I just do 'part' of it!? Likewise, if I got on elsewhere, it would seem plain daft to dock where I live a day or two before I'm due to fly home again! Can I just finish the cruise at that point?! I'm sorry if this is a silly question - I just have NO idea where cruises are concerned! Thanks for your help.

I'm going to be traveling on the Summit in November. I've read that due to budjet cuts and other things there will be hardly any worthwhile shows/activities while I'm on.
Anyone been on the SUMMIT lately?

We are going to Cozumel leaving Thanksgiving Day and would like to know how formal is formal? Can the guys get away with nice slacks and a dress shirt? Or is it required that they have a jacket and tie? Will they turn you away if the attire is not followed? What is the weather going to be like?

I am booking a cruise with Mariner and I don't know what room is better, oceanview or interior.
I was told by a few people to book an interior room in the Promenade.
Have you roomed in the Promenade and if so, is it loud at night?
I don't mind a little noise but not so much that I can't sleep.
Also, what are the best activities onboard?

Thanks

I am leaving for my first cruise in 11 days (not that I am counting...) on the Liberty of the Seas with RCCL. Has anyone been on this ship before? It looks like there is so much to do, that I don't want to waste time on things that aren't fun. What was your favorite think to do on the ship?

Any pointers on what to pack for the formal dinner. I would rather be overdressed than underdressed. Thanks!

We are getting married on the day we leave for our cruise. Dec 31 2007. I have a ivory cocktail type dress. Alittle below the knee. Would it be ok to wear on formal night so I dont have to pack another dress? I dont have a picture of it but this is close just in Ivory/off-white.

Do you think Royal Caribbean is better??

2007-09-17 22:28:51 · 4 answers · asked by Anonymous

I am going on a Royal Caribbean cruise in May 2008. This is my 7th cruise so I am not new to the experience. There are a few different rainforest tours offered through the website and I am wondering if anyone has been on this shore excursion. Some are cheap, some are long, some are short, some let you swim etc....

I am an environmental scientist so I love being outdoors and there is very little activity that will be too streneous for me.

Any info or experiences would help. Thanks

I want to avoid flying. Are there any cruises that exist that let you depart and return to the, let's say, East Coast? I have only found a few that depart from the East Coast period, and all of them are "one-way" and would result in me buying a plane ticket from Europe back to the US...

We are getting married the day we are leaving on the cruise for our honeymoon? I was wondering if it is ok just to wear what we wore to get married in until we get on the ship? It is just a little dress below the knee and heals. And he will have on dress clothes. Is it ok to board the ship like that? We will have already checked out of our hotel so we will not have anywhere to change clothes.

I have never been on a cruise before but I would like to go on a 5 day cruise after summer next year (so I can have time to save $) I have heard Cayman Islands were beautiful. Anyone know if this is true? Also, in your experience what was the best time of year to go so that the prices aren't ridiculous but yet the weather is warm enough to swim in the ocean. One more thing...what's the best cruise line? Thanks for answering.
