we Poles love reggae music, lately there are more and more Poles who make the wonderful Jamaican riddim as well as some Jamaicans come to our country to play (i.e. Gentleman, Twinkle Brothers,etc)

I have to go to negril in Feb 2008 for a wedding at the Rockhouse. My family and I aren't allow to stay at the Rochhouse b/c we have small children. Should I be concerned about traveling aroun in the Negril area? We are leaning towards staying at the Riu all inclusive which I'm told is about 15 minutes away.
