I really like travelocity.com

expedia.com and priceline.com are also good sites to try as well. I found the best deals on travelocity though.

I recommend you look in your local phone book and find some one close to your home. Not a franchise, but an independent agent and ask them if they "know Jamaica". Some franchises are under contract with certain tour suppliers. This may not serve your best interest.

The internet travel agencies are basically "order takers". Also most of them have preferred vendors. They may suggest you go to one place, because they have a contract that gives them a higher commission.

Using a travel agent does not cost extra. Some agents do charge a service fee, but usually for complex trips. They will also make you aware of the fee before they deliver you a quote.

Come to the safe place, St Croix. There are more murders in Jamaica than any other carribean island. In Jamaica, people hardly leave the hotels and they are surrounded by chain link high fences with posted armed guards. In St Croix, the hotels are open. Right now there are very good prices to the US Carribean islands. We have the same beaches, the same carribean water, better diving, etc. I recommend Carambola, Divi, go to visitstcroix.com and see many more hotels and places to stay.

Try IgoUgo.com. I won a trip from them last year and everything was flawless.
