Jamaica has two cities its capital city Kingston, and its second city Montego bay, capital of the parish of St,James.
Kingston metro area pop,estimate;590,000.
Kingston has a population of approx, 800,000 when you take in-to account its near by communities like up town sub urban areas.
Montego bay, location north west in,Parish of St,James/ has a population of approx, 200,000 or more.
The next, heavily populated section would be Portmore, located just south west of the Capital city (Kingston),However it is not a city its a Municipality and was given such a status in 2000 -2001,by government through intense debate, however its population is estimated to be 350,000 inhabitants, which of course it is fast becoming and area of housing solutions that are affordable for locals.
The next most populated urban areas would be Spanish town in St Catherine, the islands first capital, and Mandeville in Manchester with population near or above the 100,000 to 150,000 mark respectively.
