Volleyball

What are some good drills or things to do to get in shape and get a better vertical for volleyball? Tryouts are in about 5 months. I need to know all that i can to improve so ican make varsity instead of JV this year.

Well I would love a scholarship for volleyball..in minnesota, I am pretty althetic but i'm not concenred a prep.. but the other preps said i don't have a chance.. but i am better than half off them in sports, so can i do it? And where can i find it?

When I do my overhand serve I ALWAYS SHOT PUT THE BALL....It's become a habit over three years and even though I go to clinics, the coach's how-to-not-shot put-advice DOESNT WORK...NOTHING WORKS...and I need help PRONTO!!! ..tryouts are next week!!! HOW TO NOT SHOT PUT A VOLLEYBALL?


Also...please dont tell me to practice using my arm w/o the volleyball...ive tried that...and when i use the ball...i just go back to shot-putting it

I was reading a letter to teh editor online today from some parent complaining about how short the girls volleyball shorts are at her son's school. She says that, if she had a daughter in the school, she wouldn't let her play volleyball because the shorts are too sexy and the school has no right using your girls as sex objects.

So, volleyball players...
Does your team waer short spandex?

If so, do you like them or would you prefer to wear something else? Do you think the reason for the shorts is to make you look sexy or for utilitarian purposes? Do you think the shorts make you look more sexy than a swimmer who actually wears fewer square inches of clothing than you?

If you don't wear the spandex, do you wish you did? Why?

Hey yall...volley ball tryouts at my school is pretty soon and i need to start practicing...well i was wondering what kind of stuff coaches usually want you to know how to do in tryouts because last year we didnt have to tryout

After every game they smell absolutly horrible! I try spraying them with Glade stuff, but that doesn't help, they just smell bad again.

Is it possible ot wash them without screwing them up?
