I am a high school student and I am interested in becoming a racehorse trainer. I was wondering what the best way to pursue this career would be. My plan so far is:

1) Go to a college offering a four-year degree in Equestrian Studies and major in it as well as a minor/duel major with buisness.

Well, that's really all I have.

I'm thinking of going to Midway College, not a great school but it is right next Lexington, Ky.

Most horses that won on Nov 4th, had odds at 10/1, 15/1, 20/1. But that was a good return for the ones who wager on those horses.

At the Breeder's Cup today they had to put down a horse which was injured during the race. Does anyone have any experience with what's done to protect horses from these injuries? The story of Barbaro is encouraging because it looks like he's going to recover, but all the stories about horses that have to be euthanized because of injuries during a race just break my heart, because it's just a sport, and the destruction of a magnificent animal seems so avoidable... can anyone help me understand??

After walking these Quality Horses, American Cutting Horse Association Horses, after a Cutting Horse Match, ( prior to 1965 ), and cooling them down as I coincided the breathing of the nostrils and the prance of the front hoves; If you treat the horse like a kitten it will be a lion; they only have one chance after a fractute & for a short time.
