Do not give it to a horse

It will not kill him and I'm sure he likes them.
If you are trying to get him to gain weight try adding fat to his diet.
Oil or stabalized rice bran works very well and will make his coat shiny and very nice. Or add beet pulp. You get it dried and soak it in water.
Bith of these tems can be feed easily and will not make the horse hot and carry little to no risk of lamanitis. If you increse the grain ration to much you can get cloic or lamanitis. These have less risk of that and the horses do not get all hyper.

I have fed my horses apple pies from McDonald's and powdered dough nuts. These things aren't good for horses but won't hurt once in awhile. Note ONCE in awhile. It is not a good thing to do to gain weight though. Talk to your local vet for that. Treats are good, but in moderation.

Don't do that!!! If you want your horse to gain weight, get strategy, alfalfa, hay, feed your horse more and give him 1 apple a day and a few treats. NO HUMAN FOOD. It can kill horse's.

I don't think it will hurt your horse that much, but if it starts getting fatter then you know where it came from,
but why would you wanna feed it honey buns?
Aren't carrots and apples better?

That much sugar won't be good for the horse's teeth or digestion. Stick with carrots or apples.
