I really don't think there can be any "Next Pele." There is only One Pele. -The King of the Game. Each player should be judged on his own merit as each has different style and when compared to Pele, they will always fall short . Pele is the King of Futbal and there is only ONE KING. Anyhow, who do you think is the "Next Pele?"

the President of Brasil has suggested the National Team should play Lebanon as a way to promote peace. This is really a very friendly, amiable and benevolent act from Brasil. Football is the only sports that brings together the whole world under one roof and even the biggest rivals forget about their differences when it comes to watch football especially when Brasil is playing as every country loves and respects the Brasilian Team. They have millions of fans all over the world. http://msn.foxsports.com/soccer/story/5967058

To me, he is still the # 1 striker. Although he has not had a good year but if he can be fit, he can be a goal scoring machine and the most fearsome striker on this planet. True, he has to face stiff competition from Van Nistelroy, Raul and other strikers but in a way it will be good for Brasil cos he will work even harder now and try to bring out his very best. Do you still have faith in Ronaldo and his ability ? http://msn.foxsports.com/soccer/story/5966004

he is one of Brasil's most promising strikers. He is deadly and leathly around the penatly box and has got awesome skills. But I haven't seen him much scoring goals for Brasil. He reminds of of Denilson another Gifted Brasilian. Why is that?

Edinho Choldi do Nascimento, son of ex-football player PELE was sadly involved in some drug related issues on June 05. Pele is someone who we look up to as roll model, hopefully we will still have him as a roll model taking his advice "maybe I worked to much in my life and did not realize the problem I had in my house" and follow Pope Benedict XVI advice on working less.
