Fred, he's a hard working striker, he plays for a great club team, and he's been playing for the national team, he's young, he might not have the same skill as robinho but he scores goals, he scored an amazing goal against real madrid in there first champions league match this year, when he beat cannavaro"supposedly the world best defender", then he floated it right over the keeper's head, hard work pays off......

yes he is good player still young I'm sure he will give alot to Brazil

Fred is a forward with a prolific goalscoring record in his short club career.
He can shoot with both feet, is reliable in the air, and is tactically sound, with the knack of putting himself in the right place to score goals.

He holds the record for the fastest goal in Brazilian football history, timed at 3.17 seconds. His first big Brazilian club was Cruzeiro, where he won the 2005 award for top scorer in the Brazilian championship.

In 2005 he moved to French champions Lyon after being courted by many big European clubs.

For me, he is way better than Robinho. I think he played for Sao Paolo before coming to Lyon, and he was one of the best young strikers in Brasil.

Frederico Chaves Guedes @ Fred is the Brazilian currently in FRANCE plays for French champions Olympique Lyonnaise.

he was included in the BRAZIL squad at the 2006 FIFA World Cup, scored one goal against AUSTRALIA after coming on as a substitute. as other Brazilian, he is also skillful & as you can see his goal against Real Madrid CF last Wednesday, he is a deadly finisher.

Fred is typical CF and one of the best!!!He is not that much exposed by media, but he is a nightmare for every defense!! He is not that skillful like Ronaldo and Rivaldo were, but he is hard worker and great finisher!!!!
