What type of surface do they run on? Surely it isn't that astro turf they use at the RCA dome.

I have seen my team in college go for two when down by 17 (after scoring the 6-point touchdown). I have seen charts that tell you to go for two when down by 17. I always thought it's better to kick it when down by 17. The reason? If you go for two and don't make it, it is definitely a 3-possession game, whereas if you kick the extra point, you are down by 16 and now can be a 2-possession game with two touchdowns and two 2-point tries. Somebody please give me a good reason why going for two when down by 17 is better than kicking a field goal.

Do they even have any tigers and lions in Michigan ... or red wings? It's a loser sports town and has been forever. Why can't Michiganders just keep their mouths shut?

I understand there is a lot of money wrapped up in bowl games. But do we really need a computer deciding who plays for a national title? I have a solution. Make every playoff game a bowl game. For example the Rose Bowl could be a semi final game and the Orange Bowl could be the other semi final game.
